The Bible is Godβs revelation to humanity; the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. We believe that only the sixty-six books of the Bible are inspired and, therefore, inerrant Word of God. The Bible is the final authority for all we believe and how we are to live. (Mt. 5:18; Jn. 10:35; 17:17; 2 Tim. 3:15β17; 2 Pet. 1:20β21, Heb.4:12)
Our faith is in the Creator and King eternally exist as one God in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – and that these, being one God, are equal in deity, power, and glory. God is infinite in love, perfect in judgments, and unchanging in righteousness and mercy. We believe that God not only created the world, but also now upholds, sustains, governs, and providentially directs all that exists, and that He brings all things to their proper consummation in Christ Jesus, to the glory of His name. (Gen. 1:26, Ps. 104:1β35; 139; Mt. 10:29β31; 28:19; John 1:1-3, Acts 17:24β28; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 1:9β12; 4:4β6; Col. 1:16β17; Heb. 1:1β3; Rev. 1:4β6)
Humanity was formed in Godβs image to reflect His authority and purposes in the earth (Genesis 1:26-28; 2:7; Psalm 8:4-8; 115:16). Nevertheless, creation rebelled against the creator (Genesis 3:1-24). Sin not only opened the door to evil, it created a separation from God that is impossible for man to overcome (Romans 5:12-14; Ephesians 2:3). Consequently, we believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone, in Christ alone. No ordinance, ritual, work, or any other activity on the part of man is required or accepted for his salvation. This saving grace of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, also sanctifies us, that we might be progressively conformed to the image of Christ. (Jn. 1:12β13; 6:37β44; 10:25β30; Acts 16:30β31; Rom. 3:1β4:23; 8:1β17, 31β39; 10:8β10; Eph. 2:8β10; Phil. 2:12β13; Titus 3:3β7; 1 Jn. 1:7, 9)T
We believe that the Church is not physical building or organization. Therefore, the people are the Church and follow Godβs ways and purposes. We believe the Church (people of God) is an instrument, through which He is fulfilling His redemptive purposes in the earth. To equip the saints for the work of faith, giving the Church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. We also affirm the priesthood of all believers and the importance of every Christian being joined and actively involved in a local community. We believe that women, no less than men, are called and gifted to proclaim the gospel and do all the works of the kingdom. (Mt. 16:17β19; Acts 2:17β18, 42; Eph. 3:14β21; 4:11β16; 1 Tim. 2:11β15; Heb. 10:23β25; 1 Pet. 2:4β5, 9β10)
